Alcohol Outlets and Our Community: A Health Impact Assessment of the Harms of High Alcohol Outlet Density in Mendocino County, California


This health impact assessment shows that a high density of alcohol outlets in Mendocino County leads to an increase in alcohol-related harm, including violence and underage drinking. The report recommends implementing policies and tools at the local level to reduce this harm, such as Responsible Beverage Service training and Conditional Use Permits.
