This video is part of a series that the EPA created to commemorate 20 years of work on environmental justice. The series features federal and local government officials, non-profit leaders, and students, who tell stories about the lessons they have learned over their time working on environmental justice. This video focuses on how pollution and poor environmental quality is often aggregated around low-income communities, since such individuals tend to have less influence and fewer opportunities to fight against heavy pollutors such as railroads, warehouses, and transportation organizations.
