In North Dakota, Native Americans Try to Turn an ID Law to Their Advantage

After a state law in North Dakota banned people without an address from voting took effect, Native American tribes began organizing to get out the vote. This law spurred communities to work together to comply with the strict voter ID law to regain the right to vote. They teamed up with Claremont Graduate University in California assigned and created addresses for each precinct in the reservations.
