L.A. Latino, Black Students Suffered Deep Disparities in Online Learning, Records Show

Exposing the deep disparities faced by students of color amid the COVID-19 pandemic, this article shares findings from a report by the Los Angeles Unified School District. The findings indicate that low-income students, Black and Latino students, students with disabilities, homeless students and those in the foster-care system had the lowest rates of online participation.
