This report provides a historical background of health inequities experienced by Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (NHPI), as well as an assessment of the present health and well-being of NHPI, evidence-based solutions found in culturally responsive programs and approaches with a demonstrated appeal to NHPI communities, families, and individuals, and recommendations and best practices for continuing work toward health equity.
