Published By
Democracy Collaborative Foundation Inc.

This toolkit focuses on Community Development Corporations (CDCs), which are nonprofit, community-based organizations that focus on revitalizing the surrounding areas. CDCs tend to be located in low-income, underserved neighborhoods that have experienced significant disinvestment and are known for developing affordable housing and various community-building projects, such as sanitation, streetscaping, neighborhood planning, and more. This toolkit contains an overview, support organizations, models and best practices, research resources, articles and publications, and a toolbox related to CDCs.
