This story highlights 28 organizations from around the world protecting and cultivating Indigenous food systems. Through rematration, where land, animals, plants, ideas and ways of doing things and living are purposefully returned to their original natural context, these organizations strive to return Indigenous lands, seeds, foods, and histories to Indigenous Peoples and protect them for future generations.
