This toolkit serves as a reference for community-based organizations and other advocates that wish to secure funding to expand the public health workforce in their communities and/or to hold recipients of these funds accountable for the distribution and use of federal COVID-related funding. It supports efforts to address social inequities exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. It includes advocacy one-pagers, resources to support advocating for needed workforce positions, key information on federal funding streams, and an appendix of helpful resources.
