This report presents a case study of Eden Night Live, a community festival and pop-up marketplace in Alameda County, California that is part of efforts by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office to reimagine and rebuild community-police relations. It seeks to disrupt a cycle of poverty, unemployment, gangs, drugs, and violence by engaging the community and local law enforcement in a space for fun and interaction while promoting local businesses.
